Community Centre

The Metropolitan Police Service Greek & Cypriot Association presented the ‘Chris Mikellides’ award to the Cypriot Community Centre. This is in recognition of their Meals-on-Wheels service – delivering meals to those who are vulnerable, disabled or elderly.

The award was presented on behalf of the MPSGC ASSOCIATION BY Michael Yiakoumi to Christalla Evdokimou- Manager of the CYPIORT COMMUNITY CENTRE.

Christalla ensured this vital service continued throughout the pandemic by fundraising and with the support of the staff and community delivered freshly cooked meals to those in need.

They are located at Earlham Grove, Wood Green, London, N22This award is one of four given out by the Association each year.
